Segue students earn $180,000 in scholarships

The Segue Institute for Learning, a RIASCD Whole Child Recognition School, today announced that over ninety percent graduating eighth grade Segue scholars were accepted to schools of their choice throughout Rhode Island.

The students will be attending some of the top high schools in Rhode Island and have earned total close to $180,000 in scholarship money to date.

Scholars will be attending schools throughout the state, The Greene School, Beacon Charter School, Blackstone Academy, Blackstone Valley Prep, Jacqueline M. Walsh School for the Arts, Rocky Hill School, BayView Academy, Saint Raphael Academy, Bishop Hendricken High School, LaSalle Academy, Bishop Feehan High School, School One, Davies Career and Technical High School, The Metropolitan Regional Career and Technical Center, and Construction and Career Academy.

Since the school opened, ninety percent of Segue graduates do not return to the traditional public school, instead practice their choice of attending alternative settings from an extensive menu of high schools.
